Sims Hospitality recently had the pleasure of providing bars and support on a 3 day event for NHS staff. Organised by the NHS Trust the events consisted of an awards ceremony, staff social evening and families day.
Booked to serve up to 2000 guests over the 3 days of events, Sims provided bar staff, table waiting staff and all required bar infrastructure, glassware and beverages for the event - including glassware for table water and welcome drinks, as well as eco friendly bio-degradable disposables for the bar service.

Ensuring social distancing was key at this event, so Sims provided an order at table service where guests could order drinks via their smart phones without having to visit the bar. For this Sims implemented a 1 step order process solution using QR codes, which meant that staff did not need to download apps onto their phones. A team of 25 Sims staff helped staff the bar, deliver and clear drinks from tables over the 3 ays to ensure that the service was flawless from start to finish.
The client chose our rustic wine crate bars to add character to this event, with LED under bar lighting used to project a moving 'NHS Rainbow' onto the fronts of the bar. A rod and drape backdrop was used to hide the cellar equipment and replenishment stock, giving the bar a minimal and clutter free feel.
